In a near future Mark, a young miniature modelist is secretly addicted to a device called “YourFriends”, which allows you to meet virtual friends in a simulated world. His girlfriend Maya eventually finds out and Mark is forced to make a tough decision.

Synopsis

fter having another uninteresting evening with his friends and his girlfriend Maya, Mark secretly escapes into a simulated world where he meets his virtual friends. The next day Maya convinces him to go to an art exhibition by their friend Freja where he realises that one of his best friends uses “YourFriends” as well. Driven by his addiction he rushes home to go back into the virtual world, but gets pulled out by Maya. They get into a fight which ends up with Mark choosing his virtual friends over his relationship with Maya.
