A photography student is unsure about his work, but discovers an unexpected help that comes with a cost.

Synopsis

Luis is a Portuguese student at a photography school. He is nearing the end of his studies, and doesn’t believe he is going to be able to work within the medium he has chosen. His closest collaborator is Emilia, another student who tries to push Luis out of his comfort zone. One day during a shoot, Luis discovers a new source of inspiration for his work in the form of a black spot, which he starts to see. Putting all focus on his craft ultimately leads to his demise, as he loses vision in one of his eyes.
