Perfect pianist

Synopsis

A story about a pianist who sets far too high standards for himself. He strives to be "perfect" which is unattainable and he refuses to realize that his imperfection is what makes him beautiful and amazing. He has to play a difficult classical piece for a concert in a few days and he pushes himself towards perfection and gradually loses his sanity in the process. His madness manifests itself in a metaphorical monster that haunts him. Only when he realizes that it's okay to be imperfect can he defeat the monster and become happy. This happens on stage at the concert, where he fails to play the piece properly. Instead, he plays a new imperfect version and for the first time, he manages to complete the piece. He does not win the competition but he finds new joy in his imperfection.
