Emma lives a life of fake-perfection, pretending to live a flawless life in front of everyone. She's forced to reveal her flaws when she gets dragged into a murder investigation as one of her friends has been killed. She's the murderer.
Synopsis
Emma goes through her every day trying to find purpose in everything. The only time she's really herself is whenever she's in the company of other men. While at work one day, she's sought out by a police detective who asks her questions about a murder that happened the night before: the murder of a friend of hers, Eva. As she walks to the bathroom, a flashback goes back to the night before as she waits outside a restaurant, before her friends come out, including Eva. As the night goes on, they're walking home. Eva keeps asking questions about Emma's relationship to a young man named Daniel, before revealing that she has feelings for Emma by trying to kiss her. As Eva rejects her, she unwillingly hurts her by pushing her so she hits her head against a stone wall. Eva then reveals that she knows about Emma's relationships and threatens to reveal it to everyone else. This prompts Emma to kill Eva by striking a final blow to the head. As we go back to the present, Emma gets through her interrogation with the detective, but not without his suspicion going up. That night, Emma accepts who she is before calling the police, saying that she has information about the killer of Eva. She then proceeds to frame her "boyfriend" Daniel, while preparing for the next guy to come by.
