Synopsis
Gregory is a 22-year-old barista who works at a busy café where he cannot keep up with the busyness. His co-worker Emily is being uncollaborative with him which results in Gregory being yelled at by customers. One day, when Gregory is closing the café alone, a portal appears in the entrance to the café and Gregory decides to enter it. He appears in a parallel universe where he encounters Daisy, a woman looking like Emily, who gives him advice on how to fit in better in his world. As Gregory returns to the normal world, he has no issue fitting in and he even has the courage to small talk with customers which is a big help for his hungover co-worker, Emily. At the end of the workday, Gregory wants to return to the parallel universe to talk to Daisy. However, the doorway is now locked. After panicking slightly, Gregory realizes that he made it through an entire workday without issues, due to the help from his friend in the parallel universe.
